This temple is one of six temples that are believed to be the spiritual pillars of the island of Bali in Indonesia and one of the best places in the Island to watch the sun Rise/Set

It is a sacred place for the Balinese and a popular haunt for tourists from all over the world who flock to the amphitheatre on the cliffs to watch the Kecak dance that is performed against the backdrop of the setting sun.
