The question on what I’d rather be doing changes on a daily basis for me, but today, I’d Rather Be… sitting on a train to anywhere, watching the world go by and building stories in my head about the places and people I see, as the train whizzes by picturesque towns and countryside.

The shot above was taken from the train as we headed north to Inverness in Scotland.
Berwick-upon-Tweed is the northernmost town in England, located at the mouth of River Tweed and has some of the most beautiful coastal scenery along the northern rail line.
Beautiful – don’t know about Scotland but around here a shot thru a train window would be mighty dirty LOL!! Scotland is so pristine don’t you think?

Haha! There were times I wanted to climb out and clean the windows myself! 😄
Yes, Scotland was indeed pristine and the air crisp and cool. Too cold at times but … all part of the appeal I suppose. Loved the countryside!

You should! It’s a beautiful place. The Loch Ness area was very quaint. If you love old cities and history Edinburgh is great … which reminds me that I need to write something about that 😊
