Winding Down The Week

Butcher’s sausage, spicy kielbasa & massaman Thai pork sausages served with Sarawak pepper and wine sauces

It was a lovely and busy Saturday spent with family & friends, and we needed to wind down from a day of driving through heavy traffic and long distances. So we decided to make a date night out of getting all dressed up for the day – at a quaint neighbourhood restaurant in Lucky Garden, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.

I discovered ‘Wurst’ which opened a few months before the 2020 Covid 19 lockdowns quite by accident. This hidden place serves up a variety of  artisanal sausages, cheese, hams and an array of European fare, which can be paired with an array of wines available by the glass or bottle.

The perfect place to wind down from a busy week.

Round 2 – Andes Argentinian chorizo, bratwurst & French Andouille style pork sausages served with Sarawak pepper sauce, wine sauce & German curry sauce.
