My trusty old iPhone reminded me of this day – three years ago, when I was in dire need for a break away from my books and assignments. I took off on my own one late summer morning in 2021 to explore the sights along the Kenneth & Avon Canal.
Highly recommended but do keep in mind that some of the stops are in rather remote parts of Somerset, and might not be well connected to public transportation. Learnt this lesson the hard way 😆
After wandering around for a bit I stopped at a pub in Monkton Combe for a drink & the helpful bartender called me a cab. It took a while to arrive but anything is better than having to backtrack through a three hour walk 😅
